How to Feel It Real

SATS: The State Akin to Sleep

The most powerful time to impress your desires upon the subconscious mind is in the State Akin to Sleep (SATS). This is the drowsy, relaxed state just before you fall asleep.

The SATS Technique

  1. Get into a comfortable position in your bed and close your eyes.
  2. Take several deep breaths to relax your body and mind.
  3. Create a short, simple scene in your imagination that implies your wish is fulfilled. The scene should be no more than 5-10 seconds long.
  4. Experience the scene from a first-person perspective. See through your own eyes, hear with your own ears, and feel with your own hands.
  5. Loop the scene over and over again, like a lullaby, until you fall asleep.

The Revision Technique: Changing Your Past to Change Your Future

Neville taught that you can change your past by revising it in your imagination. By rewriting the past, you can change the subconscious patterns that are creating your present reality.

The Revision Technique

  1. At the end of your day, review the events that occurred.
  2. If any event was unpleasant, revise it in your imagination. Rewrite the scene as you would have liked it to have played out.
  3. Experience the revised scene with all the feeling you can muster.
  4. Do this every night, and you will begin to see your outer world transform.

Using All Five Senses

To make your imaginal acts feel real, you must engage all five of your senses.
